They also had the honour of having an unreleased song written by Sir Elton John given to them to record for their Album ‘The World Outside”.

A SPECIAL up close and personal show featuring Mark Cox and Jane McCarry, best known for their iconic roles as Tam and Isa in Still Game.
The evening promises to be filled with fun, laughter, and will be a unique opportunity for the audience to delve into the lives of their beloved TV characters. Having entertained audiences for 62 episodes and an incredible 21 years, Mark Cox and Jane McCarry will regale the audience with delightful stories from their time on Still Game and provide insights into their individual careers.
This promises to be a memorable night as they lift the lid on some of the secrets that have made them Scotland’s most admired household names. The characters ‘Tam’ and ‘Isa’ in Still Game have touched the hearts of many, and this evening will give fans a chance to get up close and personal with the actors behind these Craiglang legends.

9 to 5 The Musical, with music and lyrics by Dolly Parton and book by Patricia Resnick, is based on the seminal 1980 hit movie. Set in the late 1970s. this hilarious story of friendship and revenge in the Rolodex era is outrageous, thought-provoking and even a little romantic.
Pushed to the boiling point, three female coworkers concoct a plan to get even with the sexist, egotistical, lying, hypocritical bigot they call their boss. In a hilarious turn of events, Violet, Judy and Doralee live out their wildest fantasy – giving their boss the boot! While Hart remains "otherwise engaged," the women give their workplace a dream makeover, taking control of the company that had always kept them down. Hey, a girl can scheme, can't she?

The first half follows the steps to stardom of the young Welshman, through his early songs with the “The Sunsets”, recording studios, foreign tours, “ELVIS THE MUSICAL” and finally the “Oh Boy” television series.
The second half is a full concert (including the famous denims and pink jacket) as would have been seen during the late 80s including all the hits “Green Door”, “This ole House”, “Oh Julie”, “You drive me Crazy” and many more.

A Vision of Elvis

The smash hit show A Vision Of Elvis starring Rob Kingsley winner of The National Tribute Music Awards ” Official Elvis Show ” and ” No.1 Male Tribute Artist ” is internationally renowned as the best Elvis Presley tribute concert, touring the World today.
Long time Elvis friend, photographer and tour manager, Ed Bonja, was profoundly affected by Rob’s performance, remarking “He sings like Elvis, but most importantly, he seems to capture the very soul of Elvis – his charisma, his gestures – hell he even walks like Elvis”
A Vision of Elvis has performed to thousands of fans in major theatres, festivals and arenas worldwide and made history by being the first Elvis tribute artist to perform at the New Wembley Stadium to over 50,000 people.

About
The Barrfields Theatre in Largs is one of Scotland's most significant entertainment venues, the last fully operational seaside pavilion theatre in Scotland.
First opened in 1930, designed by architect William Barclay, the theatre was built as a popular variety theatre and concert hall (originally 1003 seats) and throughout most of the twentieth century, well into the 1970s was the home of one of Britain's most respected summer variety seasons.
Over the years, top names such as Billy Connolly, Marti Pellow, Rikki Fulton, Stanley Baxter, Frankie Vaughan, Chic Murray, Jimmy Logan, Elaine C Smith have all headlned shows at Barrfields...even Kylie Minogue made an appearance for a BBC recording at one point.
We are a registered charity (SC052380), Barrfields Theatre User Group, comprised of local volunteers whose role it is to promote the theatre, book professional touring productions, and provide technical and front of house volunteers for performances.
The venue itself is managed by KA Leisure, any questions about the building and infrastructure should be directed to them.

For over 80 years, Barrfields Pavilion Theatre has served as an entertainment venue for Largs and its many surrounding towns and villages, presenting comedy, music, variety, pantomime and drama.
Situated on Scotland's beautiful Clyde coast, with fantastic views from the view of Scottish islands, Barrfields is Scotland's oldest seaside pavilion theatre - dozens of which used to grace the shores of tourist resorts.
With 440 seats, it can accomodate a wide range of events.
We can also oversee all promotion and advertising for your production from national and local press, to regional and local radio.
Backstage dressing rooms are well equipped, complete with showers, and a green room for cast and crew can be provided upon request.
